Ok, senão vejamos, Major tom é um personagem criado por David Bowie , é o personagem principal da música Space Oddity, de 1969 . É um sujeito que vai participar de uma missão espacial, e quando chega lá em cima resolve ficar por lá mesmo. Pelo menos é assim que eu interpreto, mas isso depende de cada pessoa, para proporcionar que cada um entenda com o quiser, segue abaixo a letra da música:
