Disco de 2003, que tem as letras inspiradas em personagens do romance Fausto de Goethe (aquele do cara que vende a alma ao diabo). São 16 faixas, com várias vinhetas de introdução as faixas. Nas músicas de verdade temos uma mistura legal de peso, melodia e elementos líricos. Center of the Universe, Descent of the Archangel e Lost and Damned são as melhores. A banda segue na mesma temática no disco seguinte, The Black Halo de 2005.

Russel Allen - Russel Allen's Atomic Soul

Eu já conhecia o vocal de Russel Allen no Symphony X (desde o segundo disco em 1995) e no projeto Space Metal (do Arjen Lucassen). No Shymphony sei que ele participa de grande parte das composições, logo imaginei que seu disco solo também seria um som mais progressivo como das bandas que ele participa. Ledo engano, essa Atomic Soul é Hard Rock, com influências setentistas em algumas faixas. A introdução de Voodoo Hand tem uma levada que lembra o Sabbath nos primórdios Puta disco,vale a pena baixar!!
